Our Story

Like rubbing a matchstick to a matchbox, our team was constructed instantly when a robotics student and mentor reached out to others in hopes of participating in the FIRST Tech Challenge. Though our initial stages were centered primarily online, our first meeting was hosted in July of 2022. Since then, It has been our team's passion to think, innovate, automate, test, and - most importantly - enjoy the wonders of robotics.

A team with ambition is one that is constantly striving to improve its performance in FIRST competitions. Our team is always looking for new ways to win and seeks to improve its skills. We are never satisfied with just being good, instead, we strive to be the best.

Arnav Doshi

Arnav Doshi is an 9th grader at Dulles High School. He has had a love to work with robots and has worked with Arduino, Mindstorms EV8, REV, Tetrix, and GoBuilda kits ever since he discovered robotics. Arnav has honed his robotics skills in many competitions, like FLL and an annual district competition in which his team got 2nd place. Arnav is also an avid programmer, knowing how to code in scratch, python, java, and HTML & CSS, he also enjoys math and science. Aside from academics, Arnav enjoys playing chess, cricket, and basketball.

Aditi Aryamane

Aditi Aryamane is a 9th grader at Dulles High School. Growing up, she has been coding her own games, as well as building with Legos. Aditi has participated in multiple competitions, such as FBISD Coding Competitions, TMSCA, and now FIRST Tech Challenge. Aside from robotics, Aditi advocates for Girls in STEM and STEM presence in schools on a national level. She is in her school's Speech and Debate club, dance, and cooking club.

Arnav Shetty

Arnav Shetty is an 9th grader at Elkins High School. He has loved to work with Legos since he was a kid and grew up finding a interest in robotics. He is an avid programmer, being an expert in python. Aside from robotics, Arnav likes to play the piano and play tennis.

Arush Kankanala

Arushsai Kankanala is an 9th grader at Dulles High School. He has experience in Python and a little bit of Java. He loves robots. Aside from robotics, he likes to play tennis, videogames, read books, and plays foosball.

Pranav Sirur

Pranav Sirur is an 9th grader at Elkins High School. Pranav has always loved robots and has loved building Legos since a young age. Pranav has experience in CAD and likes to design the robot and various other items. Aside from robotics his interests include math competitions, playing tennis, and playing the cello.

Vriti Mirchandani

Vriti is an 9th grader at Dulles High School and shows significant interest in robotics. She has experience in Python and Java coding and has worked with robots in the past. On the sidelines, Vriti participates in badminton, dance, debate, cello, various academic competitions, and volunteers her time to serve her community.
